MetaMask is a cryptocurrency wallet in the form of a web browser extension. It allows to easily manage all the tokens of many different blockchains, like Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche and others! It is also the most famous for interacting with the world of decentralized finance and its vast applications.
The interface is basic and easily understandable by everyone. When you have many tokens in your wallet, this interface is not the most ergonomic.
You can exchange your crypto-assets directly from the MetaMask interface, and especially communicate with DApps. In addition, it is compatible with Ledger Live on Google Chrome.
By default, MetaMask supports all ERC-20 (Ethereum) tokens. But you can add many other blockchains like BSC or Polygon for example.
Updates are made very regularly.
Security is strong, but in reality, it depends primarily on the actions of the user, that may compromise their assets, for example, by signing scam contracts in DeFi.
The help center isn’t really the most reactive.
