CoinGecko is a cryptocurrency ranking web site using public data. It was founded in 2014 and the headquarters are based in Kuala Lumpur. They track price, volume, community growth, market capitalization and many other things.
The interface and design are not the most aesthetic, but it is functional.
They were one of the first platform to launch their mobile application in this field. There are a huge number of cryptocurrencies listed and the site is available in 21 languages.
In terms of reliability, no major problem has been reported, the site is trustworthy.
CoinGecko has a large community with over 700,000 followers on Twitter and 25,000 on their YouTube channel. The platform has gained the confidence of its community over the years.
They focus on new features, like their new NFT tab, for example.
Most of the platform is free. There are still premium subscriptions for some other services. Their prices are generally more expensive for APIs.
