ByBit is a cryptocurrency derivatives platform where you can buy, sell and trade multiple assets. It was founded in 2018 by the current CEO, Ben Zhou. There are over 2 million registered users on the exchange. Note that ByBit is not accessible to US citizens.
The platform is very intuitive and easy to use. The trading environment is complete and looks like the current exchanges leader.
You can directly buy cryptocurrencies in FIAT on ByBit through third-party services. The platform allows you to access 100x leverage on derivative contracts. It also offers other interesting services such as flexible staking, yield farming, or a Lauchpool to acquire new tokens.
You can trade around 100 spot cryptocurrencies on the platform, mostly in USDT pairs. Almost half are available in perpetual and futures contracts.
ByBit has a very good security system. They instantly send deposit funds to a cold storage wallet and have never been hacked.
The exchange handles high volume traffic well.
Maker fees are 0.02% and taker fees 0.075%, which is in the good average compared to the general market.
